台灣職場常說的「我們先對齊一下」，英文最貼近的就是 Let’s align on this first.。align on 的意思是「針對某件事取得一致做法」，通常發生在動手之前，避免各做各的、最後白做工。

🗣️ 意思與語氣

align 是「排成一直線、對準」，用在人身上就是「讓大家的方向一致」。介系詞決定對象：

  • align on + 事情：在某件事上達成共識，例如 align on the timeline。
  • align with + 人或目標：與某人或某方向一致，例如 align with the sales team、align with company goals。

它和 on the same page 很像，但分工不同：on the same page 描述「理解一致」的狀態，align on 則是「去討論、去拍板」的動作，常接具體議題，例如優先順序、範圍、預算。

語氣中性偏正式，外商與科技公司很常用，也因此被一些人視為企業術語。台灣職場對應的是「對齊」「先講好」「取得共識」。

⚠️ 容易用錯的地方

  1. 介系詞混用：align on the plan（對計畫取得共識）和 align with the plan（配合這個計畫）意思不同，不要互換。
  2. 寫成 Let’s align. 卻沒說對齊什麼：對方會不知道要準備什麼。把議題寫出來，例如 align on scope and owners，開會才有效率，更多做法見 會議效率。
  3. 對齊不等於大家都同意：有人不同意時可以 push back，align 的結果是「決定一個做法、大家照做」，不是表面附和。
  4. 一直對齊不決定：如果三次會議都在 align，可能是議題沒拆清楚，可以用 三種邏輯思考 先把問題拆開。
